Over Thanksgiving break the kids took Daddy & Uncle Chris & Aunt Shalom to the splash park in Grandma & Grandpa Powell's neighborhood to play. Brent was helping Jacob climb on a tall rock when Jacob lost his hands and hit his head on the rock. He bled pretty good but was fine. They called me and I came and "rescued" him and took him to the ER for glue. It would have been fine without the glue, but I wanted it to be closed up well because it was on his face. Jacob did great for the doctor and never even cried! Three weeks later, the glue was having a hard time coming off (it was supposed to come off by itself), so we helped it along. Jacob wouldn't let us touch it until we told him that his owie was all healed. Brent removed the glue and everything looks great! Hopefully the scar will be minimal and will fade as he gets older.
