Open Range

Only in Idaho would you find this picture! It's an open oven with a sign next to it that says "Open Range." It was in my in-laws neighbor's yard and totally cracked me up. I got to drive past it every day and would chuckle to myself every time I did.

Grandpa's Tractor

Today we got to ride on Grandpa Luke's TRACTOR!!! We've been talking about it for weeks and I think it fulfilled all of the kids wildest dreams. I think that Grandpa had just as much fun as the kids too! Thanks Grandpa for a fun ride!

Idaho Falls Zoo

Today we got to visit the Idaho Falls Zoo with Grandma Luke. It's a small zoo, but perfect size for the little ones. By the time we walked through the kids were ready to go. The kids got to pet the goats and had a great time seeing the monkeys, turtles, flamingos, bears, lions, camels, alligators, and penguins. The kids loved seeing all of the animals that we read about.

This goat climbed onto the log and tried to sit on it but instead slowly slid off the side. So much for that idea!

Jacob loves tigers! He was very disappointed that the tiger was hiding behind a tree. Thank goodness they had a fake tiger for the kids to look at!

Vacation Time

It's Vacation Time for the Luke Family!

Brent flew to Bloomington, Illinois yesterday for a week of training at the State Farm Insurance Corporate Offices. He is excited for a change of pace and will hopefully learn things about State Farm that will help him in his career. He will be home on Friday night.

The kids and I drove up to Idaho today for a week with the Luke Grandparents and cousins. We had a very long 11 hour drive today. The kids did great in the car and were troopers when Mom would say "Let's get back in the car and keep going." We are excited to spend the week with family and have lots of fun things planned.

22 weeks and counting!

We had a THIRD ultrasound today just to double check the sex of the baby. The first two were unsuccessful at fully determining the sex because of her stubborn positions and lack of willingness to move. Here is a tummy shot of my at 22 weeks as well.

Updated House.... 9 months later

We have officially been in our new house for 9 months! We have loved fixing things up, having color on the walls, and not worrying about what the landlords will think. Here are updated pictures of the house and the things that we have been changing.
