Preschool Fieldtrip

Today we went on a Preschool Fieldtrip to the Library. The librarian, Peter, took us on a tour in the back where we met all of the behind-the-scenes people and got to see where the books go in and out of the library. One lady had a stuffed chicken that the kids got to pet. We saw the break room with a SHOWER of all things! We got a tour of all of the fun places to sit in the library and lastly went to the children's section where the kids got to listen to stories and play. Everyone got to check out a book and take it home to read. The kids did great and behaved very well.

Andrew's Mom made a comment on my Facebook account and said "Glad they were good! I can't get out of Andrew what you guys did though. All he said was something about putting stuff on black squares and smacking a fake chicken!?!" HA!!! Translation: checking out books and petting the stuffed chicken.

Lost...

I'm sorry for the lack of posting. My excuse... we lost our camera case in the move... 3 MONTHS AGO!!! We have the camera, but the camera case with the connector cord is missing. We keep hoping it will turn up every time we clean out another corner or box, but it hasn't. Anyway, that's my excuse for now. I will try to do better!

Bed-Time Baby

It's amazing how even in their sleep your babies show their personalities. Jacob can't sleep without his precious blankie. He loves to have it up by his face and we usually find him sleeping with it over his head.

When I went down to get Jacob this morning he had gotten a hold of this hat that was next to his bed. Yes, that is a Ricks College Vikings hat! I kept it in hopes that my kids would use it for dress-up. So far I think it's a hit!

Hannah loves to be just like Mommy! One of the many ways that she likes to imitate me is by wearing makeup. She has her own set and has gotten lots of practice at doing it herself. The pink in these pictures doesn't do this morning's job justice.
